I’ve been doing a lot more face-to-face work with my clients.  That used to be impossible when your clients were hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

My laptops came with webcams, but they were difficult to use at my house because I have so many windows (backlighting, you know).  I’ve been doing meetings and presentations via Google Hangout on my Chromebook, but it’s still the same problem – background.

I finally broke down and bought a Logitech c920 webcam for my desktop.  Yes, I have a window behind me, but I can control the room better.  I’m thinking of putting a custom backdrop behind me when I’m on camera.  We’ll see what happens.

online_softwareWe’re getting back to the point where Agile’ is planning to put on it’s own webinars, and perhaps help others put on webinars as well.

Not surprisingly, Google Hangouts and Hangouts On Air has been adopted by a lot of presenters.  But neither of those is perfect for marketers.  So a number of other businesses have used Google Hangouts as the backbone, and extended the technology around it.

Video Produced By Agile’

Here’s a page for a karate school in Syracuse.  The overall objective is to get people to sign up for classes.  We do that by running an ad on Facebook that redirects to a page on their web site.  Here the visitor is presented with a video.  Aside from a call to action for the visitor to “come on down” to the karate school, they can also sign up for a series of 6 emails giving them info on setting and achieving goals or resolutions.

We not only designed the program and wrote the emails, we produced the video using one of the school’s students.

Price For Value

All businesses – my clients and everyone else – worry about their prices.  Are they too high?  Are customers happy with their pricing structure?  How can I get more money?

One of the problems I run into is quality of service.  By that, I mean that businesses want to maximize their income.  Often, I have clients who ask me, “How low can I drop the quality and still get the same price?”  This is based on the assumption that their customers won’t pay higher prices, which is usually total crap.
